The Tropical DiseaseResearch and Application Center (TDRAC) was founded by Çukorova University and officially approved by “Turkiye Institution of Higher Education” in 1984. TDRAC has been involved in research studies on the diagnosis, molecular epidemiology, and detecting vectors of regional tropical and subtropical diseases like Leishmania, Tuberculosis, Malaria, and Amoebiasis. The center also conducts training for laboratory diagnosis and new and educational treatments since its foundation.

Publish your articles under an Open Access license and get access to full-text of articles published in Bentham Science journals, as well.

The world of scholarly publishing is quickly moving towards an Open Access publishing model, where all the publications are freely available, for readers and researchers, around the world. Bentham Science is keen to facilitate institutions, researchers and authors, to publish their articles as Open Access, through transformative agreements, and has introduced the ‘Read and Publish’ program with this goal in mind.

Authors from institutions that partner with us for Read and Publish programs, can publish their articles in any, or selected, journals and get waivers & discouints on Open Access fees. In addition, their institutional peers can get access to additional published journal content.

What’s Read and Publish?

Read and Publish Programs serve as an alternate to the conventional journal subscription model. This Program allows institutions to subscribe to Bentham Science journals, and to complement these subscriptions, with waivers and discounts on Open Access publication charges, to their authors.

The Dynamics of the Program:

The following defines how the institution and the associated authors shall find the Read and Publish Transformative Agreement economically viable for both, publishing and getting access to the published content.

Benefits for Institutions, Authors and Readers:

  1. Customized Terms & Conditions
  2. Access to Published Content – Authors, researchers and others, associated with the partnering institution, can get access to all or selected published content, as agreed.
  3. Discounted Open Access – Authors can publish Open Access articles in Bentham science journals at a discount or free-of-charge, as mutually decided.
  4. Enhanced Prominence and Visibility – The institutions and authors will get wider coverage and promotions for their articles to enhance their reach, visibility and readership.

Membership Benefits

Registration for the Bentham Science Institutional Membership Program is Free-of-charge. As a Member the institutions will be entitled to avail the following benefits:

Discounts on Journal Subscriptions for University / Library / Organization / Society:

Discounts will be offered on the Institutional Subscription, for any Bentham Science journal. The subscription is offered for a time period of one year and can be renewed every year depending on the interest. Through the subscription the researchers, faculty and students from the institution will be able to get access to the Full-text articles, published in Bentham journals.

Discount on Open Access Article Publishing for Researchers:

The researchers and authors from the member institution will be able to publish their articles, in any or selected, Bentham Science journal, as Open Access at a 40% discount.

Articles are licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC-BY 4.0) (, which permits unrestricted, distribution and reproduction in any medium, ensuring that the work is properly cited.

Prioritized Peer-review and Publishing for Researchers:

The authors associated with the institution can avail a prioritized peer-review process, to publish their research. The articles will be published at priority, online, and in the next upcoming issues of the journal.

Promotion as a Member Institution on Bentham Science Website:

The institution will be promoted as a Bentham Science Member, with the institution’s logo, linked to their official website, showcased on the Bentham Science Membership webpage. We will promote the partnership through social and digital media as well.

Free News Media Promotions:

The Member institutions can promote their recent achievements in research and development through popular news platforms, including the “EurekAlert!” and other news websites.

Free Webinars For Members:

Bentham Science organizes webinars for researchers, around the world, related to research, writing and publishing. We would welcome researchers and others, affiliated with your institution, to register for free and attend these live webinar sessions. They will get the chance to gain knowledge and skills required for conducting research, presenting, writing and publishing their work in established journals.
