Dr. Conti is a permanent scientific contributor of Pharmacogenetic Newsletter of Pharmacology Italian Society (SIF) of which she is a member. She has published papers in peer-reviewed journal and is referee of international peer review journal (European Journal of Pharmacology, World Journal of Medicine and Medical Science Research, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism).

Prof. Elahi, earned B.Sc. M.B.B.S. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Glasgow, and a Ph.D. from the University of Southampton, UK. He brings expertise and skill in general adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, complex congenital/ paediatric cardiac surgery, etc. He also established an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization named CardiacEye International Foundation (www.cardiaceye.com) to provide free and affordable adult and pediatric heart surgeries around the world in underdeveloped and developing countries. His work in basic and clinical work has culminated over 170 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals of repute.

His major work was published in the Nature Reviews Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Journal of Hepatology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Thrombosis and Haemostasis, American Journal of Medicine, etc. He served as an Associate Editor of Annals of Hepatology and a lead guest editor in two special issues in two SCI journals, Gastroenterology Research and Practice and BioMed Research International. He also served as a peer-reviewer in more than 30 SCI journals.

Dr. Pietro Scicchitano obtained his Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2008 discussing a thesis entitled, “Evaluation of cardiovascular risk in patients suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome”. Additionally, he also has a Degree of Instructor in Basic Life Support and Defibrillation (obtained in 2007). He is currently affiliated with University of Bari, Bari, Italy. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas of Hypertension, Heart Failure, Inflammation, Insulin Resistance, Atherosclerosis, Diabetes, Echocardiography, Myocardial Infarction, Blood Pressure, Pharmacology, Cardiology, Biomarkers, etc. Dr. Scicchitano is an author/co-author of over 110 full articles in international scientific journals, has 170 abstracts published in international journals, and has also published 4 chapters in scientific books.
