Current Neuropharmacology aims to provide current, comprehensive/mini reviews and guest edited issues of all areas of neuropharmacology and related matters of neuroscience. The reviews cover the fields of molecular, cellular, and systems/behavioural aspects of neuropharmacology and neuroscience.

Professor Tom Salt obtained his Degrees from The Universities of Cambridge and Bristol, is co-founder and Director of Neurexpert Ltd, and Emeritus Professor at University College London. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry, and acted as a consultant and adviser to industry.
Professor Salt's research encompasses the pharmacology of neurotransmitters in relation to the sensory system systems, and more recently the functional consequences of neurodegeneration. He has published over 200 research and review papers, and is a member of several editorial boards and Editor in Chief of "Current Neuropharmacology"
